LocalLine ("we", "us", "our") operates a local delivery platform connecting customers, merchants, and delivery riders. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number (verified via OTP).
- Location data: delivery addresses you save; your live GPS location while placing an order or choosing a delivery point (customers); a rider's live GPS location while online and during an active delivery, so orders can be tracked in real time.
- Order information: items ordered, order value, delivery address, order history, ratings and tips given.
- Photos: shop and product images (merchants), and optional screenshots attached to support tickets.
- Device information: a push-notification token so we can send you order updates.
- Communications: messages you send through in-app support tickets.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account, and verify your identity via OTP.
- To process, fulfill, and track orders between customers, merchants, and riders.
- To calculate delivery distance and fees.
- To send order status updates and other necessary notifications.
- To provide customer support and resolve support tickets.
- To calculate merchant and rider payouts.
- To improve the reliability and safety of the platform, including rider emergency alerts.
How We Share Your Information
We share only what's necessary to fulfill an order:
- A customer's name, delivery address, and phone number are shared with the assigned rider and merchant for that order.
- A rider's name, phone number, and live location are shared with the customer and merchant for an active order.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- We may share information with law enforcement or regulators where required by law.
Location Data
Location access is used specifically to: let customers pin an accurate delivery address, calculate delivery distance and fees, and allow live order tracking. Riders' location is only collected while they are online and/or actively delivering an order. You can disable location permissions in your device settings, though this may limit app functionality.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. Order records may be retained after account deletion for a reasonable period for accounting, legal, and fraud-prevention purposes, in line with applicable law.

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. See our Account & Data Deletion page for instructions.
Children's Privacy
LocalLine is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including OTP-based authentication and encrypted network communication, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
